My most popular reading comprehension resource is Theodore Seuss Geisel and the Famous Cat . It is a biography about the famous children’s book author and illustrator best known as Dr. Seuss . This reading passage is a great activity to use on March 2nd, in honor of Dr. Seuss’ birthday which is now celebrated as Read Across America Day. This reading selection is appropriate for students in third – fifth grade.
