I love that I can search for what I need for my classroom and find relevant products with REAL teacher feedback. Most products have four images, a PREVIEW, and a detailed description to let you know exactly what you will be getting. I remember looking through Professional Teacher books at the teacher store and trying to flip through pages and hope it was good! It didn’t exactly have any other teacher feedback!

Most products on TpT are digital products that can be downloaded instantly! Plus I love having a digital file because it is much more durable that a paper copy that can fade or get damaged over time.

My teacher buddy recently had her computer die! Tech support was unable to recover any of her teacher files. She was so worried because she no longer had any of her teaching files and resources. I reminded her that at least ALL of her Teachers Pay Teachers purchases were still available in her “My Purchases” page in TpT.

I first started using TpT in 2007 because my fellow teachers would see something in my classroom and ask if I was willing to share it with them. I found myself writing an email and trying to attach a large file on an old, slow, school computer. Eventually I added several of these frequently requested files to TpT as freebies. It was much easier to send a teacher a link, send them to my store, or have them search for it themselves on TpT!
